Day before Thanksgiving random
For us this is our favorite observance. Why? It has not been commercialized to the point of exhaustion & nausea. Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks for all the goodness, and bounty we wear like moccasins. Thanksgiving is about giving and NOT receiving. So before you head out to participate in the FRIDAY Smackdown/Shakedown, do a good deed of giving with those you love, because out there in the wilds of commercialism they are waiting to give it to you!

Black Friday, CyberMonday, White Monday, the list continues as many are fraught with Christmas buying - why? 14m folks still are paying for Christmas 2009. Come on folks - we are our own worst enemy.
