Movie - Just wanged my head with endless Deadwood

Since I am not cable-rich endowed, I am late to seeing many of the fancy items on HBO or other rich channels. As a late joiner, I recently got the entire DEADWOOD series on DVD. This show was and remain tops on my list of EXCELLENT SHOWS and deserves frequent viewing to appreciate the modern era (maybe). Why was it canceled? Must not have made enough money for the moneygrabbing, backstabbing, vapid owners. Deadwood where fiction and non-fiction ride the same horse.

Day before Thanksgiving random

For us this is our favorite observance. Why? It has not been commercialized to the point of exhaustion & nausea. Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks for all the goodness, and bounty we wear like moccasins. Thanksgiving is about giving and NOT receiving.  So before you head out to participate in the FRIDAY Smackdown/Shakedown, do a good deed of giving with those you love, because out there in the wilds of commercialism they are waiting to give it to you!

BTW - Do you know about Charlemagne Jones? She pops into Its A Mystery BookStore when she is visiting the countryside however she is a hard lady to pin down. She informed us she would be blogging on SpankyBooks to share her insights/perspective on life & other fodder and to talk about her book.Ooooh crap,  Char told me NOT to mention the....
